Vikki is a fourth-year student at UC Davis majoring in the Biological Sciences and minoring in Communications. She was inspired to create StudentSphere after seeing the challenges members of her own community had faced due to the pandemic. She is thrilled to be working on this project and hopes that it can bring people together virtually during this difficult time.
Vikki enjoys working with students and has five years of experience working as a camp counselor and tutor for elementary and middle school students. At UC Davis, Vikki has been a resident advisor, an undergraduate researcher, and a co-director of a student-run health clinic. In her free time, Vikki enjoys dancing, hiking, and baking.
Michelle is a fourth-year student at UC Davis studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, as well as Anthropology. She is ecstatic to be working with her peers and helping her community fight through these times.
Michelle has been a tutor for five years, working with students from 1st to 12th grade. She currently tutors middle and high-school students in Davis. Additionally, Michelle danced Latin Ballroom for 11 years. She has volunteered in child daycare programs, teaching toddlers brief routines and keeping them active. Given the current conditions, she hopes to provide relief, whether it be school related, socializing, or even dancing, to those who are currently facing challenges due to the outbreak.
Social Media Manager
Ariella is a fourth-year student at San Diego State University majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and minoring in Social and Personality Psychology. She is happy to bring her knowledge and skills in social media marketing to the StudentSphere team.
Ariella discovered her passion for social media marketing during her freshman year at San Diego State. Since then, she has gained valuable knowledge and experience through various coursework as well as an internship for a boutique social media marketing agency. She loves to create digital content, whether that means writing, taking photos, or designing graphics.
Ayane is a fourth-year student at UC Davis studying Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior, and Psychology. Joining as a mentor, she saw the program’s impact on her mentees and their families. She is enthusiastic and motivated to share this program with more families so they have the resources to receive support.
Alongside tutoring, Ayane volunteers her time leading young athletes in a non-profit organization dedicated to decreasing injuries in gymnastics. After she graduates, she hopes to attend graduate school to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She deeply enjoys working with people as she learns and grows from every interaction.
